Hey,

The bolster is actually a silver 1951 Canadian 25 cent piece. This is when they were still made of solid silver. Originally I wasn't going to add a bolster because I didn't want to mess with the clean look of just antler, leather, and wood. But I decided that it would be a good idea to add one because it adds strength to the knife. I decided on a silver quarter because it is very thin and wouldn't change the look of the handle very much.

I have two tangs that were given to me and a lot of handle material. I'm stuck however on how to make the guard. I notice that it looks like you have a brass guard. Where did you get that ?
